Writing and producing original music has been my passion for my entire adult life. You probably hear that every single day. What sets my music apart is the message. It's vital. There are no fluffy love songs here that give listeners a taste of feel-good moments, only to see them move on to somebody else's dab of Cool Whip.
This is a mountain of solid, Christain rock. Here, you can listen to the echos of God.
You will hear almost no praise music. I think that genre is adequately filled by many other artists. These songs are directed at people – people who are either searching for heaven or for the downcast who sometimes wish they were already there. Most of the lyrics are not overtly Christian, so they appeal to a broad audience – like a sheep in wolf's clothing. The songs are from a higher heart that can lift us up to a higher place.
As you know, it's not just about lyrics. The music, vocals, and presentation need to captivate us and remain at our side like a friend who's always there to help.
I'm not promoting me, even though I've been led to record hundreds of songs during the past 40+ years. I'm 66 years old now but have only recently tried to storm anyone's radar. I've played in bands as a bass player for well over a hundred performances, including guitarwork, bass pedals, and keyboards. Although I have enjoyed doing live shows, I prefer crafting songs in studios with bandmates or solo.
People have told me that my voice sounds a bit like Jon Anderson from Yes, but the music I write needs singers with a powerful voice that can grab people with both hands – either to shake them awake, or to comfort the hurting, or to uplift the weary – myself included. I'm promoting the original songs that God gifted to me. I'm an instrument and a pen bringing lifesaving and lifechanging news.
